About the Course:
The course will introduce students to the common diseases of corn in the Philippines. As the course progresses, they will acquire detailed information and knowledge regarding the causal organisms, signs and symptoms, diagnosis, and identification of these diseases. Ultimately, they will learn preventive measures and management options to combat the diseases effectively. The students will be equipped with additional technical knowledge and expertise in the field of corn pest control, thereby preparing them to become well-rounded corn agriculturists.This course was developed through the program Smart Approaches to Reinvigorate Agriculture as an Industry (SARAI) Phase 2 Project 2.4 Insect Pest and Diseases Advisory System.
