Introduction

ABOUT THE ONLINE TRAINING
DOST-PCAARRD has been conducting non-degree training courses for its partners in the National Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development Network (NAARRDN). The aim is to strengthen competencies of research managers, researchers, and scholars in the implementation and management of agriculture, aquatic and natural resources (AANR) R&D initiatives. This is done through the development and conduct of strategically identified enhancement courses, such as those on R&D management and technology-based trainings.
The COVID-19 pandemic, travel restrictions, and the requirement for social distancing encouraged distance and online learning. To ensure that the Council delivers its training courses to its partners and stakeholders, this online training platform was created. This online training platform aims to maximize the utility of the training materials available while providing interested stakeholders to learn, without the need to travel or interact in person.
